Get Points Toward Your Navy-Wide Advancement Exam
Per NAVADMIN 301/07, beginning September 2008 (cycle 200) you may receive 4 points towards your FMS for a BA/BS and 2 points for a AA; this is in reference to E4/E5/E6 exams. These points are in addition to the award points.  These points must be in your SMART transcript by September 1, 2008.  There are only two methods of getting a degree in your SMART transcript:
     (a) have your college send the degree/transcript directly to the Navy College - Pensacola
     (b) bring your documentation directly to a Navy College Office and have them send the information in.  If you have doubts as to what documentation the local Navy College Office may need, call them prior to stopping by.

The points will not be calculated locally by your ESO. They will be awarded based upon having a degree in your SMART transcript only. It's possible that numerous Sailors will miss advancement by a small margin and be frustrated because they cannot apply their earned degree points that they are entitled to.  They will not be able to apply them to their FMS due to the fact that they failed to submit their degrees by the 1 September deadline.

Colleges should send degrees/transcripts to the below address:

NAVY COLLEGE CENTER, N211
VOLED DETACHMENT, CPPD
6490 SAUFLEY FIELD ROAD
PENSACOLA, FL 32509-5204
